Basic principles of pressure sensors
The main working principle of pressure sensor includes piezoelectric effect, piezoresistive effect, strain effect and so on. Among them, piezoelectric sensors use the piezoelectric effect, that is, some materials will produce charges when subjected to external forces, by measuring these charges to sense pressure changes; Piezoresistive sensor makes use of piezoresistive effect, that is, the resistance value of the material will change when it is subjected to pressure, and senses the pressure by measuring the change of resistance value. The strain sensor uses the strain effect, that is, the material will deform when subjected to external force, and senses the pressure by measuring the deformation.
