1. Connection specification: Avoid signal interference
Shielded wire use: The sensor signal wire must be twisted pair shielded wire, and the grounding terminal is directly connected to the engine body to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI).
2. Data Recording: From Transient to Trend Analysis
Long-term monitoring: Use the data recording function of the instrument to store AFR changes within 24 hours, and analyze the rules under cold start, warm-up, high load and other operating conditions.
3. Maintenance tips: Extend sensor life
Anti-pollution measures: Avoid contacting the sensor probe with engine oil, cleaning agent or lead gasoline. The probe may be contaminated when the instrument displays "high impedance" (>100kΩ). Thermal shock protection: Do not turn off the engine immediately after cold start, let the sensor cool at idle for 5 minutes to reduce thermal stress damage.
4. Troubleshooting: Combined with multi-parameter cross-verification
Associative parameter check: When the instrument displays AFR abnormality, read the oxygen sensor voltage, MAP sensor data, and fuel injection pulse width simultaneously to eliminate misjudgment (such as the MAP sensor failure may cause the ECU to mistune AFR).
